Lent 2019

Lent began on Ash Wednesday.  During Lent, we are given the wonderful opportunity to stop, and reflect on the things that separate us from God.  We often give things up during this season, and this is to be commended, but we can also think about the things we might be able to do extra.  Here are a few suggestions...
DAILY MASS
Holy Mass isn't just celebrated on a Sunday.  Why not think about coming to Holy Mass during the week.  On Monday, Mass is at 7.30 a.m. to help workers to come before work.  Please see the weekly newsletter for times.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Every Friday evening at 6.00 p.m. followed by Holy Mass
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Every Saturday morning from 10.30 until 11.00 a.m.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Lent is a wonderful time to experience God's loving mercy.  If it's been a long time since you came to this beautiful Sacrament, don't worry.  Be courageous!
Every Saturday 10.30 a.m. - 11.00 a.m. and 5.15 p.m. - 5.45 p.m.
Also available by appointment.

Holy Week 2019

Picture
The Great Liturgies of Holy Week and Easter are a wonderful opportunity to stop, and reflect upon the abundant love that God offers us.  He was willing to die on the Cross for us, out of complete love - and whilst we were still Sinners.

Beginning on Palm Sunday, Holy Week takes us on a journey though the last few days of Jesus's life, culminating in His Passion, Death and Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Coming back to Mass after time away - or even for the first time - can be daunting.  It is worth visiting the BACK TO CHURCH pages of our website for some useful ideas and information.
